Bringing Teams to Victory
Hi, I’m thrilled you’re here.
My name is Pete. I’m an elite rugby coach and work with individuals leading Fortune 500 companies. I’ve been in this line of work for over 20 years, often being called a "leadership and innovation expert.”
Through my work, I have found that most leaders are not intentional about how they lead. Instead, it just happens. Swamped with meetings and an endless to-do list, there's little time to create a plan. They can't be blamed, and they're definitely not alone. I've been here before, too. Does this resonate with you?
This lack of intentionality can make it difficult to lead at your best. But when you reflect on what is important in your role, it focuses your energy and maximizes impact. This is the goal of the Authentic Leadership Model, which allows you to achieve a higher return on your time.
I want to share everything I’ve learned with you to support your journey in being a successful leader.
What is the Authentic Leadership Model?
The Authentic Leadership Model is a holistic approach to how you should lead at this specific time in your career. This model helps leaders become metacognitive—meaning you’re thinking about how you think. It’s a skill you’ll be able to use for the rest of your career.
If you want to be at your best as a leader and create meaningful impact for your team and organization, this model is for you. Overcome any feeling of being “stuck” and turn it into a winning strategy to become effective at what you do.
Leadership Shock
Over the years, I’ve seen leaders (on the pitch or in a conference room) face a leadership challenge that is different from anything they’ve faced before. The ground shifting beneath their feet makes them question their most deeply held convictions.
Leadership Shock looks at this under-examined issue and draws on my years of experience as an elite rugby coach and a leadership consultant. The book uses my Authentic Leadership Model to help leaders arrive at a deeper understanding of their vision and personal strengths to create a set of fundamental principles that will steer them through the current challenge—and every future leadership challenge.
The book contains detailed case studies from leading business figures who talk about their experience of working with me to develop their own Authentic Leadership Model.
